Before the Boonta Eve Classic of 32 BBY, Reeso also participated in a race on the desert planet Tatooine. This race saw him compete against Podracers like Clegg Holdfast, Ody Mandrell, Neva Kee, Boles Roor, and "Bullseye" Navior on a course that traversed the Hutt Flats.
Jinn Reeso demonstrated the necessary reflexes to effectively pilot a Podracer across dangerous and varied terrains. As a humanoid, Reeso's distinguishing feature was his bluish-gray skin, marked by lighter shades around his chin, cheeks, and arms. A unique characteristic of Reeso's species was the presence of only two toes on each foot.
Jinn Reeso's vehicle of choice was a large, dark-colored Podracer. While it had average acceleration and a satisfactory top speed, its handling was poor, and the large size of its engines made navigating tight spaces difficult. On the other hand, the Podracer was durable, capable of withstanding significant damage from collisions with obstacles and other racers. Its primary color was black, accented by gray, wing-shaped logos on the cockpit and engine. When racing, Reeso wore a black jumpsuit, a helmet, and darkened race goggles that concealed the upper portion of his face.
In the video game Star Wars Episode I: Racer, Jinn Reeso is a character that can be unlocked and played. He is not available through normal gameplay; instead, players must use the cheat codes RRJINNRE or RRTANGENTABACUS in the Nintendo 64 version or a specific key combination in the PC version. Activating Reeso replaces all aspects of the character Mars Guo, including his position as the track favorite for the game's Spice Mine Run course and his records. Reeso was one of two characters accessible only through cheat codes in Episode I Racer, with the other being Cy Yunga.
Bob Bergen and Jim Ward provided the voice for Reeso. Bergen also voiced Ody Mandrell, Cy Yunga, and Gasgano in the game, while Ward voiced Fud Sang and Mars Guo. However, the dual voice acting is attributed to the reuse of sound bytes from other racers for Reeso's character. Despite this, both voice actors are credited in the game. The body model used for Reeso is a re-textured version of the model used for Bozzie Baranta.
