Jori Lekauf was a male Human officer within the ranks of the Galactic Alliance Guard. This organization functioned as the secret police for the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. As the grandson of Erv Lekauf, an Imperial officer under the command of Darth Vader, Jori followed in his ancestor's footsteps. He served under Colonel Jacen Solo, who was also Vader's grandson, a Jedi Knight, and the commander of the Guard. After the Guard's establishment, Lekauf became a member of the 967 Commando, a specialized company of elite GAG troopers directly reporting to Solo.
During the Second Galactic Civil War, Lekauf advanced in the Guard's ranks, being promoted from Corporal to Lieutenant. Known for his positive attitude, he developed a friendship with the young Jedi Ben Skywalker, another grandson of Vader who also held a position as an officer in the Guard. In 40 ABY, Lekauf gave his life, sacrificing himself on the planet Vulpter to ensure the success of a GAG mission.

Erv Lekauf, who served under Darth Vader's command, was Jori's grandfather. Jori admired his grandfather greatly, perhaps even more than his own parents. Opting to emulate his grandfather's career, Jori enlisted as a Corporal within the Galactic Alliance Guard, serving under Jacen Solo, Vader's grandson. Jori demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Solo, though he sometimes questioned the rationale behind Solo's choices.
During a GAG operation on Coruscant, Lekauf formed a bond with Ben Skywalker, Jacen's cousin and an informal apprentice. Lekauf offered support to Ben as he struggled with his first kill in combat. Their friendship grew strong, and Ben considered him to be a close confidant.
Shortly after receiving his Lieutenant commission, Jori was assigned to lead a small GAG team to Vulpter. Their objective was to observe a meeting between Prime Minister Dur Gejjen and Chief of State Cal Omas. To help Ben prepare for his role in the mission, Jori insisted on being involved in Ben's combat training. Within a single day, he transformed Skywalker into a proficient sniper, even though Ben had reservations about assassinating Gejjen. Although the mission achieved its goal, their escape was compromised. As Jori and Ben attempted to leave, security forces locked down the spaceport. Realizing they were about to be captured, Lekauf took the sniper rifle from Ben. He used a hostage as a diversion to make it through the terminal (yelling that he was a Corellian patriot opposed to the GA), and then managed to board their ship. Jori then destroyed the ship to make security believe the assassin was dead and allow Ben to escape.
