Following the Battle of Yavin, Jornel Savas served as an agent within the ranks of the Corellian Security Force. His operational base was situated in the city of Coronet, located on Corellia.
In the year 1 ABY, CorSec received intelligence regarding the presence of hostile battle droids dating back to the Clone Wars, operating within the Bindreg Hills region. A team, commanded by Lieutenant [Varias], which included Jornel Savas, Officers [Hirka], Kener and [Mener], along with several CorSec troopers, was dispatched from Coronet to investigate these reports. The unit uncovered an ancient and fully automated droid factory, believed to have been secretly constructed by the Separatists during the Clone Wars period. CorSec overlooked the fact that IG-88 had reactivated the factory in support of his Droid Revolution initiative. Although the droid factory was heavily defended by numerous battle droids, the Corellian government hesitated to deploy reinforcements, as they wished to avoid attracting the attention of the Galactic Empire. Therefore, Agent Savas was assigned the task of enlisting the aid of independent spacers to bolster the CorSec forces at the factory. He made contact with Taarna, a CorSec agent with prior experience working with spacers on Talus, and his former colleague agreed to provide assistance. Subsequently, a group of spacers journeyed to Corellia to combat the droids and shut down the factory. According to Lieutenant Varias, the intervention of the spacers was crucial in containing the crisis and averting a potential catastrophe.
Jornel Savas functioned as a non-player character within the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies, which was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was eventually shut down on December 15, 2011. The character of Jornel Savas was integrated into the game as part of the "Corellian Droid Factory" storyline, introduced with the release of "Game Update 12" on August 10, 2009.
