Joshua Ilan Gad, a versatile American performer known for his acting, comedic timing, and singing abilities, lends his voice to the Galactic Empire's controller LT-319 in the Star Wars Rebels episode "Double Agent Droid" from Season Three.
During Celebration Orlando in 2017, he served as the host for the The Last Jedi panel. While filming the 2017 movie Murder on the Orient Express, Gad created several YouTube videos where he interviewed his co-star Daisy Ridley about The Last Jedi. In 2019, he created a similar video leading up to the release of The Rise of Skywalker.
Ida Darvish, who played the role of common house owner Dara Vish in The Mandalorian, is Gad's wife.
