Dara Vish was a female human proprietor from the world of Sorgan, who originated there and ran the Common House. Around the time of 9 ABY, she provided grinjer bone broth along with spotchka to the Mandalorian Din Djarin and Grogu, his young ward. To get his order expedited, Djarin paid Vish extra. Djarin also asked Vish questions regarding a local woman named Cara Dune.
Born on the planet Sorgan, Dara Vish was a female human. Vish owned and operated the Common House on Sorgan, striving to offer a pleasant environment for her customers. She had killed a grinjer in 9 ABY, which became the source for the Common House's plentiful bone broth supply. Soon after, the Mandalorian Din Djarin and the infant Grogu arrived on the planet and then at the establishment, where Vish welcomed them and took Djarin's order: bone soup for Grogu. She also offered the Mandalorian broth, but he declined the offer.
He became interested in Cara Dune, a human nearby, and inquired about how long she had been present and what she was doing; Vish believed Dune had been there for about a week and then laughed, as there was not much going on Sorgan. Djarin then gave her some credits, causing Vish to promise the Mandalorian that his meal would be prepared quickly and that she would also give him a flagon of spotchka. After noticing that Dune had left her seat, Djarin went outside, giving an additional coin to Vish so that she would watch Grogu for him. Later in the year, Vish was in the building when Dune fought a Zabrak fighter, standing behind the bar and observing the fight.
Dara Vish was willing to take bribes in exchange for improved service, promising Djarin that his food would be prepared as soon as possible after he gave her credits and even adding complimentary spotchka to the order. She treated all who visited her tavern as friends, with many of her regular customers happy to travel for her hospitality. Vish had black hair, fair skin, and hazel-colored eyes.
While on Sorgan, Vish wore clothing that was brown and lightly patterned.
Dara Vish's debut was in "Chapter 4: Sanctuary," which was the fourth episode of the live-action series The Mandalorian's first season. The episode was broadcast on November 29, 2019. Ida Darvish portrayed her in the episode, and she was only identified in the end credits as "Common House Proprietor." Her name, "Dara Vish," which is a tuckerization of Darvish's name, was revealed in the 2021 young readers reference book Star Wars: The Mandalorian Handbook by Matt Jones.
