Keeper's World, situated within the Outer Rim Territories, served as the original world of The Keeper. It was once the home of the Keeper's makers until they abandoned it during an ancient war.
By 0 ABY, the landscape of the Keeper's world presented a diverse array of largely temperate environments, including forests, jungles, plains, and mountains. A comprehensive network of subterranean caves also existed, linked to the Keeper's Temple. The planet's environment experienced frequent and drastic alterations due to the Keeper's restoration efforts. At her command, the planet could experience groundquakes and lava geysers. These events, seemingly devastating, were often temporary, leaving little trace of their occurrence.
Aside from the Keeper and her creations, namely Earth, Fire, Rain, and Wind, the planet lacked sentient inhabitants. However, the surface was populated by monstrous creatures. Juvenile members of this species were approximately three times the size of a human, while adults were considerably larger.
The Keeper recounted a war in the distant past that "raged from rim to rim of the entire galaxy". The inhabitants of Keeper's World, being pacifistic, found themselves unable to withstand the conflict. As their world was ravaged by the violence of war, they chose to evacuate. They entrusted the Keeper, a powerful computer with complete planetary control, to restore the planet in anticipation of their eventual return. Recognizing that alien interference would impede her progress, the Keeper deliberately made the planet appear inhospitable and populated it with formidable beasts.
In 0 ABY, a group of Rebels under the leadership of Princess Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker crash-landed on the planet while being pursued by an Imperial commander and a squad of Stormtroopers. The Rebels encountered the Keeper within her temple and learned about her past. To safeguard her mission, the Keeper triggered a planetary cataclysm, leading the Imperials to conclude that the Rebels had died and that the planet was too unstable to approach. After the Imperials departed, the Keeper ceased the cataclysm and released the Rebels, who had been sheltered for their safety. She then repaired their vessel and allowed them to leave, so she could resume her planetary restoration efforts.
The original inhabitants of Keeper's World were technologically advanced and non-violent, having abandoned the planet long ago. The Keeper eventually fashioned four android assistants resembling her creators. These androids were named Earth, Fire, Rain, and Wind. Each possessed remarkable abilities, capable of manipulating the element associated with their name.
While most of Keeper's World consisted of untouched wilderness shaped by the Keeper, one notable location was a dilapidated temple. The Keeper's Temple appeared to have been abandoned for a long time, but within its decaying structure existed a functional teleportal. This device transported those who activated it into the caverns that housed the Keeper and her android creations.
