Keldov nuts were a variety of nut that could be eaten by people. During the time of the High Republic, the Tal-Iree's restaurant located on the world of Coruscant used these nuts to create baked goods. These pastries were frequently ordered from Tal-Iree's by Padawans Avar Kriss, Elzar Mann, and Stellan Gios. In 228 BBY, two years following Gios' passing, Kriss and Mann, who had become Jedi Masters by this point, enjoyed some of these pastries together inside the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
The novel The High Republic: Temptation of the Force, penned by Tessa Gratton as part of Phase III of the Star Wars: The High Republic project, featured Keldov nuts. The book was released on June 11, 2024. Before the book came out, StarWars.com included a reference to these nuts in a preview of the novel published on May 20 of the same year.
