A notable Kerkoiden individual was Whorm Loathsom, a General within the ranks of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Furthermore, a Kerkoiden served among the numerous guards in the employment of Talvee Chawin, a crime lord operating on the planet Coruscant in the period following the Battle of Endor.
Concept artist Doug Chiang's original designs for the Neimoidian species served as the foundation upon which the Kerkoiden were created.
