Khel Tanna was a scoundrel of the human race and female persuasion. During the time the Galactic Empire held sway, also known as the reign, she was in the employ of Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Tanna possessed dark-toned skin, black [hair](/article/hair], and eyes of a blue hue. She harbored a strong dislike for the smuggler Han Solo, with whom she once collaborated on a job for Jabba, and similarly felt animosity toward the Wookiee Chewbacca.
Khel Tanna originated as a character within the Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca comic series. Marc Guggenheim penned the story, while David Messina provided the illustrations. Her debut occurred in the first issue, which saw publication on March 9, 2022.
