Killun Station, situated on Killun 71, functioned as a facility managed by the Imperial Security Bureau, an arm of the Galactic Empire.
Constructed upon the rough terrain of the foggy moon Killun 71, Killun Station served as an outpost for the Imperial Security Bureau. Due to the presence of confidential information, such as Imperial clearance codes, the station maintained high security. Stormtroopers guarded every entry point, and all visiting staff and droids were required to go through walkthrough identification scanners.
In the year 2 BBY, the rebel droids AP-5 and Chopper infiltrated Killun Station during a mission aimed at acquiring clearance codes for the Phoenix Cell's planned assault on Lothal. While AP-5 successfully extracted the clearance codes from the Central Computer Core, Chopper underwent remote reprogramming by a group of Imperial intelligence officials commanded by LT-319, who was stationed on an IGV-55 surveillance vessel.
The initial appearance of Killun Station occurred in the Star Wars Rebels Season Three episode entitled "Double Agent Droid," which was initially broadcast on Disney XD on March 11, 2017.
