Linara was a dancer of the human species, identified as female, and she was the romantic partner of Borgin Kaa. Following the Battle of Endor, she resided with Borgin in Cloud City, situated on the planet Bespin. Borgin was there awaiting a heart implant due to his cardiac issues. He maintained allegiance to the Galactic Empire, convinced they held the key to providing him with a replacement heart.
Seeking Borgin's access codes to penetrate Governor Ubrik Adelhard's residence and bypass the Iron Blockade, operatives from the Alliance to Restore the Republic forcibly entered their dwelling. Linara aided the rebels in overpowering Borgin.
Linara's initial appearance was in the novel Aftermath, penned by Chuck Wendig and published in 2015.
