Lintu served as the personal droid of Kar Yang, assisting and accompanying him on his bounty hunting assignments. The physical form of Lintu was humanoid, but his head had a cone-like shape, tapering to a rounded point at the face, and featured red bands of optical sensors positioned at the cone's center.
Savan secretly arranged for Lintu to be reprogrammed to spy on Yang and provide reports after the Black Sun hired Yang to capture Guri, the Human replica droid. Yang successfully located Guri on Murninkam, but the pair were unable to pursue her to the laboratory of Spinda Caveel because Lintu identified that it was protected by a Full-globe class-one Imperial shield. However, they remained concealed when she went back to her ship in the Kajiin Swamp, and followed the Stinger back to Hurd's Moon; Lintu informed Yang en route that the droid Guri was tasked with retrieving and delivering was unique.
Lintu expressed surprise that Yang wasn't attempting to attack Guri during her journey, and Yang explained to Lintu that he had no intention of returning her to his employer, as Guri was far more valuable than the bounty he had been promised. Yang intended to keep Guri for his own purposes.
Lintu waited until he thought Yang was sleeping before sending a report back to Savan. However, Yang had become wary of his droid and overheard the communication. Upon arriving on Hurd's Moon, Yang dispatched the droid ahead to scout and then shot him in the back.
Later, Savan and Prevaro arrived on the Moon in pursuit of Guri. Prevaro noticed the droid's remains at the location where Kar Yang had shot him.
