Prevaro

Prevaro knew Azool was searching for Guri, the human replica droid who had become a rogue entity after Xizor's demise. He visited Azool at Azool's Antiques, located in the Southern Underground of Coruscant, and provided her with relevant details. Shortly thereafter, Azool contacted Kar Yang, a bounty hunter, to arrange Guri's capture at the last known location of the Stinger.

Prevaro returned to Azool while she was receiving an update from Kar Yang. Prevaro began to suspect that Azool was Xizor in disguise, having survived the Battle over Coruscant based on rumors. He prepared to betray him. To his shock, Azool revealed that she was actually Savan, Xizor's niece. She outlined her scheme to seize control of Black Sun with Guri's assistance, and to avenge her uncle's death. To achieve this, she hired Prevaro, making him her lieutenant. Prevaro was surprised to learn that Savan had manipulated Lintu, Yang's droid, to spy on his own master, ensuring Yang's loyalty to her. After informing Prevaro that the staged assault had successfully convinced everyone that Vekker was responsible, she revealed Yang's treachery and her intention to complete his task. Prevaro expressed doubt about Savan's ability to handle Guri, but she assured him that she possessed the codes to control her.

They determined that Guri had sought out the scientist Massad Thrumble, and together they journeyed to Hurd's Moon on a mission to capture Guri, with Prevaro questioning how they would find her on such a large moon. Following the traces of Lintu, Prevaro first discovered the droid's remains, having been shot by Kar Yang. Soon, Savan met with her contact, Skahtul, who warned her that no one had been able to approach Guri after Kar Yang due to Thumble's defenses. Savan, impatient for an opportunity, discussed alternative options with Prevaro, providing him with funds to enlist assistance for their mission. Prevaro soon presented a group of newly recruited thugs of various species and sizes to Savan, and he spearheaded the operation.

The group assaulted Thumble's facility, encountering a security droid and a trapped door. With most of their team dead, and hearing some shooting in a corridor--unbeknownst to them, Spinda Caveel and the Pike Sisters were engaged in a Lightfight with the Heroes of Yavin. Savan and Prevaro reached Thrumble's operating room, only to find it empty. They approached the remaining thugs near Guri's ship, the Stinger, who were waiting for her, and he and Savan split up to search for her.

Prevaro was the first to spot Massad Thrumble assisting Guri as she walked, and following Savan's instructions, he directed the thugs to attack them. While Guri fought and defeated the thugs, Prevaro and some thugs encountered the Heroes of Yavin. Prevaro told the bewildered mercenary that he wasn't paid to ask questions, and they opened fire, resulting in Luke Skywalker cutting off his right hand. Meanwhile, Savan reached Guri, but was thrown down by her.
