Lockslab
Lockslab was a resilient, yet easily handled, construction element and composite material developed by Delvin Constructs specifically for their prefabricated base designs. Its composition included durasteel, stresscrete, foamcast, along with various other low-density substances. Lockslabs were integral to the structural integrity of constructions such as the COM C-52 Modular Command Center, the HNG F-304 Modular Hangar/Motor Pool, and the MILBAR F-221 Modular Barracks.
Origins
The initial mention of Lockslab within the new Star Wars canon occurred in Fully Operational, a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game brought to you by Fantasy Flight Games. Before its inclusion in the canon, Lockslab was a part of the Star Wars Legends universe, debuting in Han Solo's Revenge, a 1979 novel penned by Brian Daley and released by Del Rey.
