Lon Secura was the sibling of Pol Secura, the father of Nat Secura, and the uncle of Aayla Secura. Subsequent to Pol's death, he also took on the role of Clan Chief for the powerful Clan Secura.
After the passing of his brother, a member of the Twi'lek Clan Council, Secura made efforts to locate the Twi'lek Ro Fenn. According to the customs of the Twi'leks, Fenn was supposed to journey through the Bright Lands, but Fenn remained hidden. The exiled Twi'lek Kh'aris Fenn then made his return to Ryloth, asserting his claim to become the new ruler. To demonstrate his power, he orchestrated the kidnapping of Lon's son, Nat, the Secura heir, by two Morgukai. Out of love for his son, Lon contemplated surrendering to Kh'aris. However, a Devaronian named Vilmarh Grahrk arrived at his estate, representing the Jedi Aayla Secura and Quinlan Vos. He advised Lon to refrain from any action until receiving further instructions from the Jedi. The following day, his son was safely returned, thanks to the Jedi's success.
