Lorus

Lorus was a male Sith individual who held the rank of captain within the Kalimahr militia's police force, and he found himself peripherally entangled in the schemes of the Stargazers.

Biography

In the early stages of his career as a constable, Lorus encountered Je'daii Ranger Vulk along with two Journeyers who were accompanying him. The Je'daii had arrived to mediate a conflict concerning mineral rights, and when Lorus attempted to question Vulk about the details of the case, Vulk employed the Force to levitate the constable and remove him from his path.

Having ascended to the position of Captain in the Kalimahr militia, Lorus took Lanoree Brock into custody following an incident near a spaceport that resulted in the deaths of three civilians, two militia members, and one terrorist. He attempted to extract information from her about the nature of her mission, eventually involving her in the limited intelligence he possessed regarding the Stargazer cult. The Noghri terrorist had been a preacher within the cult, a small group of individuals who harbored resentment towards the Tho Yor for bringing their ancestors to Tython millennia prior. He directed Brock towards Kara, a wealthy industrialist residing in the penthouse of Gazz Spire in Rhol Yan, suspecting her of secretly financing the cult. Shortly after Brock's visit to Kara's penthouse, Kara and several other prominent members of Rhol Yan's high society vanished without a trace. Lorus shared this information with the Je'daii and was content when his involvement in her investigation concluded.

Personality and traits

Lorus possessed a tall and imposing physique, accustomed to commanding and receiving obedience. He displayed bullying tendencies, with his subordinates operating under the fear of punishment or harsh reprimands. As a captain within the Kalimahr militia, he maintained a comfortable rapport with the Je'daii, recognizing that fostering diplomatic relations would prevent any undesirable violence or deception. Despite his disdain for Je'daii arrogance, Lorus demonstrated a sense of honor upon learning of Ranger Vulk's valiant death, displaying admiration for his sacrifice for the greater good.
