Lowik, alternatively written as Lowick, was a planet situated in the Outer Rim Territories. This jungle world served as the swampy place of origin for the Pa'lowick singer Sy Snootles. During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance maintained a clandestine secret outpost on Lowick. It was their homeworld.
Lowick initially appeared in Alien Encounters, a supplemental resource for the Star Wars Legends Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games, published in 1998. The canon status of this world was affirmed in the 2015 reference work Ultimate Star Wars.
The comic book series Star Wars: Target Vader and Star Wars: Bounty Hunters presented a comparable planet named "Lowik." The 2024 reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy subsequently identified this planet as Lowick, thereby merging the two distinct locations.
