A notable member of this species was Sy Snootles, who served as the lead vocalist for the renowned Max Rebo Band.
As a species of reptilian humanoids, the Pa'lowicks exhibited a unique set of characteristics. Their most prominent feature was a trunk-like snout, measuring 30 centimeters in length and terminating in a sizable pair of lips. Furthermore, a pair of retractable tusks extended from a secondary mouth. This adaptation aided them in navigating the diverse conditions of swamp environments, allowing Pa'lowicks to utilize their snouts as natural snorkels. These beings possessed four slender, elongated limbs connected to a rounded torso. Their yellow skin displayed a pattern of blue or purple spots, providing effective camouflage within the swamps of their native homeworld. A pair of prominent blue eyes were situated atop their heads, directly above their snouts. Instead of a heart, they possessed a specialized organ known as a fluid sac.
Originating from Lowick, Sy Snootles, a Pa'lowick, gained recognition as a celebrated singer and occasional bounty hunter. However, unbeknownst to many, she operated secretly as a spy for the notorious Hutt Clan. Later in her life, she decided to concentrate on her singing career and was instrumental in the creation of the Max Rebo Band, assuming the role of its lead singer. Another Pa'lowick held the position of announcer for the illicit Gladiator Night event, a sporting competition hosted at Monad Outpost on the planet Lothal.
The Pa'lowicks made their debut appearance in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.
