Lunar wine was a wine variety that humans could consume. During a dinner in the royal palace on the Inner Rim planet [Pijal] in 40 BBY, Lord Regent Rael Averross imbibed some of the alcoholic drink, with the intention that its inebriating qualities would lessen the unpleasantness of his discussion with Czerka Sector Supervisor Meritt Col. The name of the wine was the same as "lunar," a word used to refer to things related to moons.
Claudia Gray's 2019 novel, Master & Apprentice, featured lunar wine.
