L-X1
L-X1, also known as Lexi, worked as an announcer droid at the Grand Arena located on Vespaara, collaborating with Boz Vega. It seems L-X1 was a follower of the Hunter J-3DI, as evidenced by the J-3DI figurine displayed on her desk, and her commentary on his arena performances. She has also expressed that "Trophy Chase" is one of the arena games she enjoys the most.
Biography
While interviewing Hunters for Arena News was primarily Boz Vega's responsibility, L-X1 occasionally substituted for him. Because Vega was unable to communicate in Ewokese, L-X1 conducted the interview with the Ewok Hunter Pilbush in his place. Pilbush enthusiastically shared her experiences in the Arena thus far. Following a Clash between Diago Velaar and Nox, L-X1 interviewed Diago. Diago spoke highly of Nox, and expressed his satisfaction with his victory. The interview sometimes went in unexpected directions because L-X1 was not familiar with organic social conventions.
Behind the scenes
L-X1's initial appearance was in the video game Star Wars: Hunters, which had a soft launch in select countries on November 16, 2021; however, the droid is only audible as one of the announcers alongside Vega. Lexi was later shown as a sticker for player emotes during update 0.18.0, which was launched on September 13, 2023, before her full visual reveal in the "Star Wars: Hunters Launch Date Reveal Trailer" released on April 30, 2024.
