Macken

Macken was a Snivvian employed by the Galactic Republic as the Station Controller at Relay Post Epsilon One. While she was in charge of the space station, she discovered that Raleigh, the Chief Technician, had neglected to turn on the station's Targes scanner, an instrument designed to provide early warning of starships emerging from hyperspace. After she activated the scanner, an alert signaled the arrival of ships from hyperspace; these ships were identified as a squadron of Nihil Stormships along with the Lourna Dee, the personal starship of Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee. As the Nihil began their assault on the station, Macken transmitted a distress signal to Starlight Beacon, prompting the dispatch of Jedi Order and Republic Defense Coalition units. During the ensuing Battle of Galov, where the Nihil clashed with the Jedi and Republic forces, Macken and Raleigh were saved by Jedi Master Sskeer and Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis, who escorted them to a secure location.
