Madaga-Ru

Madaga-Ru was a Voss Mystic of the male gender, see male, who existed during the time of the Galactic War.

Biography

Among the other Mystics, Madaga-Ru possessed a rather rebellious and unorthodox nature; he held the belief that his Voss counterparts existed in a state of self-deception, merely "seeing" what aligned with their desires. As a consequence of his views, Madaga-Ru chose self-imposed exile, residing as a solitary hermit within the perilous wilderness surrounding the city of Voss-Ka.

In the approximate year 3640 BBY, the Empire's Wrath, while searching for the authentic Voice of the Emperor, sought out Madaga-Ru. Madaga-Ru informed the Wrath that the Voice had vanished within the Nightmare Lands, a place notorious for inducing madness in all who dared to enter. He suggested that the Wrath obtain the Blessing of Oneness from the Mystic known as Vana-Xo, along with the Pendant of Bone from the Voss commando named Biddeck-Va, to gain entry into the Dark Heart. Following the Wrath's acquisition of both items, Madaga-Ru manifested before the Sith Warrior as a spectral figure, adamantly requesting temporary possession of the Wrath as recompense for his aid, regardless of whether consent was given.

Subsequent to the Wrath's liberation of the Voice, Madaga-Ru materialized before the Sith warrior in spectral form, revealing that he had acquired the necessary knowledge to prevent Sel-Makor from escaping confinement. He also issued a warning that a traitor existed within the Wrath's crew, although he was unable to identify the individual by name. It was later discovered that Malavai Quinn was the traitor in question.

Personality and traits

Madaga-Ru openly stated his preference for the solitary existence of a hermit over the perceived artificiality of his people's civilization. Despite his disapproval of his culture's ways, Madaga-Ru remained a steadfast believer in the core principles of the Voss way of life—a path of equilibrium, simplicity, and unwavering faith in the visions received by the Mystics. Those who demonstrated disrespect towards Mystic philosophy or intentionally violated Voss law were met with Madaga-Ru's severe reprimand.
