Master of Ceremonies

The individual known by the title Master of Ceremonies was a male Human who, roughly halfway through the inter-Sith Wars period, took on the role of organizing Life Day celebrations. In the year 3638 BBY, he, along with his group called the Life Day Revelers, were present on Vaiken Spacedock, a location controlled by the Sith Empire. However, the Empire had mistakenly permitted his entry onto the spacedock, and his presence was explicitly denounced in the Imperial Edict GR-1NC4. During his stay on the spacedock, which lasted for two weeks, the Master of Ceremonies engaged in selling holiday merchandise and promoting joyful activities, which were viewed unfavorably by the Imperial authorities. In that same year, he also made an appearance on Carrick Station, with the support of the Galactic Republic.

Biography

The Master of Ceremonies led the Life Day Revelers.

During the time of the inter-Sith Wars period, there was a male Human known as the "Master of Ceremonies." He, together with his group of Life Day Revelers, worked to spread the celebration of Life Day, an annual holiday that originated with the Wookiees from Kashyyyk, to the wider galactic community. Around 3638 BBY, during the period of the Galactic War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, he served as the head of a series of seasonal events centered around the Life Day celebration. Accompanied by his group of Human and Wookiee Revelers, the Master of Ceremonies visited both the Republic's Carrick Station and the Empire's Vaiken Spacedock to share holiday spirit and sell various Life Day-themed items.

While the Galactic Republic welcomed the Revelers to Carrick Station, the Sith Empire's leaders considered their holiday-related activities to be "inappropriate for an Imperial citizen." Nevertheless, due to an administrative error, the Master of Ceremonies managed to obtain an official permit to sell his goods in the Galactic Trade Market area of Vaiken Spacedock. The Master of Ceremonies and his Revelers remained at Vaiken Spacedock for a period of two weeks, encouraging the Imperial personnel stationed there to engage in singing, dancing, and harmlessly throwing Life Day snowball bombs at one another. Even though they had initially authorized his presence on the station by mistake, the Imperial government issued the Imperial Edict GR-1NC4, labeling the Master of Ceremonies and his associates as subversive elements. The edict also cautioned citizens against purchasing their goods, which were being reviewed under Section 53-T of Imperial law, meaning that buying or possessing them would be considered an official violation of contraband regulations.

Personality and traits

Around 3638 BBY, the Master of Ceremonies was a man of considerable height and build, possessing broad shoulders, brown eyes, and a complexion with pinkish tones. His hair, once brown, had largely turned white, except for his eyebrows, and he maintained a neatly trimmed boxed beard. When selling his holiday merchandise on Vaiken Spacedock, he wore the same red robes and white gloves as the Life Day Revelers, and he also sported a unique crescent-shaped headpiece adorned with a crest positioned transversely.

In contrast to the prevailing attitudes within the Sith Empire, the Master of Ceremonies displayed no prejudice against non-Humans, such as the Wookiees, who were the original celebrants of Life Day on their homeworld of Kashyyyk, and he openly encouraged nonviolent physical interaction with them. Overall, his cheerful nature clashed with the Imperial culture, which was primarily dominated by Sith Lord and soldiers.
