Mavari Zudan

Mavari Zudan served as a judge of the Court of Justice in 43 ABY; she was a female Falleen.

Biography

Within the Galactic Alliance's Court of Justice, Mavari Zudan, a female Falleen judge, presided in 43 ABY. Notably, she was the presiding judge during the trial of Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker in 43.5 ABY. During Skywalker's legal proceedings, she accepted his conditions for exile.

Subsequently, she also served as the judge in the trial of Jedi Knight Valin Horn. Zudan determined that he was unfit to be tried conventionally; however, because he was considered too dangerous for a standard prison, she ordered him to be encased in carbonite. Later, she oversaw the trial of the former Jedi Knight Tahiri Veila, ultimately sentencing her to death.

Personality and traits

Despite the fact that Zudan upheld the charges brought forth by Chief of State Natasi Daala against Skywalker, she appeared to possess some level of empathy for the Jedi cause. However, this sentiment seemed to shift when the courts decided that Valin Horn was too dangerous for typical imprisonment, leading to the decision to contain him in carbonite.
