The Meatlump Cave functioned as a base for the technology-averse Meatlump gang. This sizable cave was situated in proximity to the city of Tyrena on Corellia, a Core World.
The sole entry point to the cave was nestled within a rock formation emerging from a hill located on the Corellian plains. Illumination within the shadowy cave was provided by torches used by the Meatlumps. They had furnished the cave with tents, rudimentary tables, chairs, and basic generators. Among the Meatlump inhabitants of the cave were figures such as Ubbal Fenn, Pech Seki, and Hrath Koo.
In the year 1 ABY, the Meatlumps launched an assault on Osto Grissom, a starship captain, due to his transportation of electronic devices into and out of the Corellian system. Major Walden of the Corellian Security Force enlisted the assistance of an independent operative to aid in the investigation. This operative successfully located the Meatlumps at the cave and forcefully gained entry. A battle ensued, resulting in the deaths of multiple gang members, including Hrath Koo. Furthermore, the operative destroyed a significant portion of the Meatlumps' supplies, encompassing weapon stashes, armor storage, and food reserves, with the intention of compelling Ubbal Fenn to disclose the motivations behind the attack on Grissom. The CorSec agent further assisted Pech Seki, a Meatlump desiring to leave the gang, in retrieving his possessions left within the cave. Ultimately, the spacer killed Hrath Koo in the cave for harassing Teilo Monnro.
The Meatlump Cave featured in Star Wars Galaxies, the MMORPG from Sony Online Entertainment, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The cave was introduced to the game through the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, released on June 8, 2006. Its location was near Tyrena on Corellia. Players explore the cave during the "CorSec Case Files: Assault and Battery" quest, a component of the Legacy quest, which represented the game's longest questline.
