Mener

Mener was a CorSec officer, specifically a male Human, who resided on Corellia during the era known as the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

Following the Battle of Yavin, Mener achieved the sergeant rank within the Corellian Security Force, operating from the city of Coronet on Corellia.

Battle droids patrolling the Corellia Droid Factory.

In the year 1 ABY, CorSec received intelligence indicating the presence of active battle droids from the Clone Wars period within the Bindreg Hills. A team was assembled and dispatched from Coronet to investigate, led by Lieutenant [Varias] and including Sergeant Mener, along with Officers Hirka, Kener, Savas, and various CorSec troopers. This unit came across an ancient and fully automated droid factory, believed to have been secretly constructed by the Separatists during the Clone Wars. CorSec was unaware that IG-88 had reactivated the factory as part of his Droid Revolution plan.

Although the droid factory was heavily guarded by hostile battle droids, the Corellian government hesitated to provide reinforcements, aiming to avoid attracting the attention of the Galactic Empire. Therefore, independent spacers were hired to support CorSec at the factory. Sergeant Mener was given the responsibility of leading the fight against the droids and he recruited several spacers to destroy as many droids as possible. The spacers eliminated over two dozen droids, including B1-series battle droids, B2 super battle droids, and droidekas. The spacers also engaged in a significant battle with a powerful prototype battle droid, similar to the EV-series. Eventually, CorSec and the spacers jointly succeeded in shutting down the Corellia Droid Factory.
