Metagos existed as a planet located within the Outer Rim Territories. The capital city of New Xaxxis was built in subterranean caverns that were sarcastically referred to as the Glass Abyss. Following Qui-Gon Jinn's death, Jedi Master Mace Windu embarked on a mission to this planet with the goal of liberating the Sa'ad clan from the control of crime lords.
