Biography

Early Years

It was discovered at some point that Miko Reglia possessed a connection to the Force. He underwent training at the Jedi Praxeum under the direct tutelage of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. During his time as a student, he developed romantic feelings for a fellow student, Octa Ramis. He became the apprentice of Kyp Durron and eventually graduated to the rank of Jedi Knight. Despite the belief among some Jedi that his relationship with Ramis had ended after graduation, they continued to meet in secret, suggesting otherwise.

The Dozen-and-Two Avengers

Miko Reglia, in collaboration with his master, Kyp Durron, established an independent fighter squadron known as the Dozen-and-Two Avengers. The squadron's name reflected its composition: twelve conventional starfighter pilots and two Jedi. During the initial stages of the Praetorite Vong invasion, Reglia served as Durron's wingman.

Reglia was arguably the second-best pilot in the squadron, trailing only Durron. He harbored no ambitions for leadership and was content to follow his master's lead, fighting wherever Durron deemed necessary. This often involved minor engagements against smuggler rings in the Outer Rim Territories, a task that met with Luke Skywalker's disapproval. However, the situation escalated when an observation buoy detected distress signals from the endangered scientists of ExGal-4 on Belkadan. Upon discovering that a Spacecaster had departed the scientific outpost for the fourth planet of the Helska system, the Dozen-and-Two launched an investigation.

Capture and Imprisonment

Upon their arrival at Helska IV, the squadron encountered a formidable force of coralskippers utilizing advanced organic technology. While protecting Durron, Reglia's cutting-edge X-wing starfighter had its shields negated by an artificial gravity well. Without shields, Reglia's ship was swiftly disabled, leading to his capture and imprisonment at the Praetorite Vong's icy stronghold on the planet below.

Reglia, battered, and stripped of all clothing except a pair of tight shorts, found himself confined to an underwater holding cell alongside Danni Quee, a former ExGal-4 scientist. As the first Jedi captured by the Yuuzhan Vong, they sought to test the resolve of these supposedly powerful beings. Reglia's mind was subjected to a rigorous ordeal designed to shatter his confidence and strip him of all hope and willpower. Prefect Da'Gara declared Reglia an unworthy warrior, destined for sacrifice to the Yammosk.

Upon regaining consciousness, Reglia displayed resourcefulness. With Quee's assistance, he managed to overcome their Yuuzhan Vong guards and attempt an escape. However, their attempt was short-lived, as Da'Gara immobilized the young Jedi with blorash jelly, a strong adhesive.

He was then subjected to a barrage of mental torments, repeatedly convinced that he was on the verge of death, only to discover that the nightmare persisted, refusing to release him. The Yammosk's telepathic abilities replayed these horrific memories in vivid detail within Miko's mind, denying him any respite, with the sole intention of breaking the young Jedi's spirit.

The arrival of Jacen Solo and the New Republic Task Force above Helska IV, along with Solo's subsequent rescue attempt, offered Miko his first glimmer of hope since his capture. However, realizing that this hope was not for him, he sacrificed himself by pulling two Yuuzhan Vong warriors into the icy depths below the planet's surface, ensuring Solo and Quee's escape.
