In the year 26 BBY, Jak'zin, a Jedi Knight, embarked on a mission on Sullust. This task, assigned by the Jedi Council and the Galactic Republic, involved investigating the Kaldana Syndicate, a criminal organization that had established a presence on Sullust. Concurrently with Jak'zin's investigation, Count Dooku of Serenno also journeyed to Sullust for a mission. While ostensibly there to negotiate contracts with Representative Kap Klyp from the SoroSuub Corporation, his true purpose in visiting the planet was to locate the same criminal group that the Jedi were investigating.
