Mordageen

The sentient species referred to as the Mordageen originated from the planet called Mordagon. These beings possessed a bipedal structure, characterized by pink-toned skin and distinctive pointed ears. Notably, a Mordageen named Bendix Fust, who was a smuggler, was employed by the Dug crime lord Sebolto. Following his capture by the Republic Security Forces, Fust divulged all the information he had about Sebolto's criminal enterprise. Subsequently, he was incarcerated in Desolation Alley, a prison situated on Oovo IV. While imprisoned, two bounty hunters facilitated his escape, enabling Sebolto to exact his vengeance.

Hailing from the Expansion Region, the Mordageen were a sentient species that evolved on the planet of Mordagon. Their physical traits included reddish orange or pink, often wrinkled, skin and hands that featured three fingers along with an opposable thumb. Their facial structure was relatively flat, marked by a short nose and pointed ears. Typically, a tuft of blond hair adorned their scalps, accompanied by stubble around their chins and mouths. The average height for a Mordageen was 1.75 meters.

History

By the time of the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY, certain Mordageen had already engaged with the broader galaxy. One such individual was Bendix Fust, a smuggler who was involved in the death stick operations of the Dug crime lord, Sebolto. However, in a sting operation conducted at a transfer station within the Gazzari system, the Republic Security Force apprehended the Mordageen. To secure a lighter sentence, the Mordageen provided the Security Forces with all the details he possessed regarding Sebolto's drug cartel. Consequently, he was confined to a high-security prison facility known as Desolation Alley, located on the asteroid Oovo IV. Driven by a desire for retribution, Sebolto placed a bounty on his former associate. Separately, two bounty hunters, the Clawdite Zam Wesell and the Mandalorian Jango Fett, infiltrated the prison with the aim of extracting Fust. Eventually, they cooperated to facilitate his escape, after which they delivered him to Sebolto on Malastare.

Behind the scenes

The initial appearance of the Mordageen was in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, a video game created by LucasArts in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. Although the species remained unnamed in the game, Bendix Fust served as its representative. His identification as a Mordageen was later established in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter: Prima's Official Strategy Guide, released by Prima Games in November of 2002.
