Lieutenant Mowaat, a Rodian pilot, participated in an unauthorized mission to Seatos alongside General Hera Syndulla, Captain Carson Teva, and fellow lieutenants Baysee, Jensu, and Lander. The team's objective was to intercept the Eye of Sion, an enormous hyperdrive docking ring, as it departed Seatos' atmosphere. They attempted to obstruct the Sion's trajectory by flying to intersect its path. This effort proved unsuccessful, and the Sion jumped to hyperspace through the squadron, resulting in losses. Mowaat and Baysee were both killed when their respective X-wings collided.
The character of Mowaat debuted in the fourth episode of the Ahsoka series on Disney+, which premiered on September 5, 2023. Dawn Dininger played Mowaat.
