Mummert, a human of the male persuasion, held the rank of admiral within the armed forces of the Galactic Empire. In the initial stages of the Imperial Era, Darth Vader gave the admiral the assignment to position starships within the Hortolo system. Nevertheless, the process of assembling the necessary units extended beyond the allotted timeframe, resulting in the admiral's failure to complete the assigned task by the set deadline.
Mummert gave his report to Vader while aboard his Venator-class Star Destroyer; in response to the news conveyed through a viewscreen, Vader, greatly displeased in his chambers, employed telekinetic abilities to choke Mummert, resulting in his death.
This Imperial Admiral wore a standard gray Imperial uniform, complete with a rank insignia plaque featuring a layout of four blue squares on the bottom and four red squares above them. The officer also sported an Imperial kepi adorned with an officer's disk, in addition to a solitary code cylinder located on the left pocket of the uniform. The admiral was described as having light skin and graying hair.
The introduction and demise of Mummert occurred in "No Good Deed...," a brief comic story included as a supplement to the first issue of the Star Wars: Darth Vader (2017) comic book series.
