A Selonian female named Murthil resided on Corellia during the time of the Galactic War. Her reputation was that of a fierce fighter, eventually becoming the den mother for the Selonians inhabiting the Selonian Tunnel Network beneath Corellia's capital, Coronet City.
During the Sith Empire's invasion of Corellia, den mother Murthil and her numerous Selonians from her den assisted the Corellian rebels as they fought against the Imperials. After the Empire bombed multiple factories located in the Labor Valley, Murthil spearheaded a group of rebel Selonians when the Empire offered a bounty on them, aiming to reduce the alien population. Subsequently, the Selonians journeyed to a tunnel system situated under Coronet City, where they encountered an Imperial hero who had tracked them. Murthil, together with her forces, including Destha, engaged the Imperials in combat, but they were all ultimately defeated. By the time General Hesker and his soldiers arrived, Murthil was the sole survivor, begging for her life in exchange for allegiance to the Empire.
Murthil appears as a character in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. The player's choices determine Murthil's fate: she either pledges her service to the Empire (if the player chooses the light side) or is executed alongside the rest of her species (if the player chooses the dark side).
