Muz

In 137 ABY, on the desert planet of Tatooine, a Muun known as Muz, or more commonly, "Muz the Fence," ran a shop. This black marketeer made his living fencing illicit goods and supplies. Before Vigo Lun Rask, a high-ranking member of the Black Sun crime syndicate, tasked the Muun with identifying the individual disrupting their acquisition of contraband from Imperial shipping vessels, the former Jedi turned bounty hunter Cade Skywalker had sold five shipments of illegal merchandise to Muz. After acquiring a shipment of blasters from Skywalker, Muz revealed to Rask that the bounty hunter was the one interfering with their operations by seizing the contraband they sought.

Biography

During the time of the Second Imperial Civil War, Muz, a Muun, made his home on Tatooine, a planet situated in the Outer Rim. By the year 137 ABY, Muz was running a store where he engaged in the buying and selling of items obtained through illegal means, including weapons and other types of merchandise. This black marketeer, who was famously known by the moniker "Muz the Fence," regularly purchased items from Cade Skywalker, the former Jedi who had become a bounty hunter, who used the alias Luke Skywalker when selling five shipments of contraband to the Muun.

However, Vigo Lun Rask, a leader within the Black Sun criminal organization, contacted Muz with a demand: he wanted Muz to discover the identity of the person preventing his pirates from successfully stealing shipments from Imperial transport vessels. Skywalker, having recently come into possession of a shipment of Thunderbolt Mark 7 blasters, attempted to sell them to Muz. Muz declined to pay the full asking price, instead offering only a quarter of what they were normally worth. In an attempt to coerce Muz into paying the full price, Skywalker fired his blaster inside the shop.

Despite this, Muz stood his ground and reiterated his offer, subtracting the cost of the damages caused to his establishment. After Skywalker accepted the reduced price, Muz cautioned him to leave Tatooine. Subsequently, Muz contacted Rask, informing him that Skywalker was the individual disrupting Black Sun's operations by intercepting the contraband they were attempting to acquire.

Personality and traits

Muz possessed brown skin and blue eyes, and he typically wore blue clothing complemented by a red vest. He displayed a condescending attitude towards Cade Skywalker when the former Jedi attempted to sell a sixth shipment of contraband at a time when it was attracting too much unwanted attention. Furthermore, Muz refused to negotiate a higher price than he had offered in the past. Nevertheless, Muz made sure to alert Skywalker to Black Sun's interest in finding the person who was interfering with their activities. Following their meeting, Muz informed Rask of Skywalker's location and falsely claimed to the Vigo that he had not purchased the latest shipment from the former Jedi.
