The N-1 assembly site, situated on the planet of Naboo, served as the construction location for the Security Force's N-1 starfighters. During the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY, this site was targeted and came under attack.
This complex was comprised of assembly buildings, a command center, and a runway. The completed N-1 starfighters were staged on this runway, awaiting their assigned pilots. The entire site was located in the northern, icy mountain region of Naboo.
Before the events of 32 BBY, Borvo the Hutt and his Nal Raka Criminal Empire seized control of the base. When the Trade Federation launched its invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY, the Droid Army rapidly moved to secure all areas of resistance. The assembly site was quickly put under blockade, isolating the smuggler who managed the facility. The Royal Naboo Security Forces, thrown into disarray by the invasion, dispatched two Security Officers to find a way to combat the Droid Army. Captain Kael and Lieutenant Gavyn Sykes rescued the smuggler, a Hutt known as Borvo. The pilots escorted him and his freighter back to the site, fighting through mines and droid starfighters along the way. In retaliation, the Droid Army attempted to obliterate the site. The pilots, with assistance from one of the Hutt's pilots, initiated strafing runs against the Federation tanks, successfully defending the facility.
While the immediate threat was neutralized, and the assembly site sustained significant damage, the remaining N-1s sat on the landing strip. The pilots transitioned from their previous vehicles to the new starfighters and launched an attack to strike back against the Trade Federation forces.
This facility was featured in a mission within the 2000 video game titled Star Wars: Episode I: Battle for Naboo.
