The N.S.H. base served as a facility utilized on Talus by the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Serving as the headquarters for the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony, the N.S.H. base was home to a Mercenary unit operating on the Twin World of Talus, within the Corellian system during the Galactic Civil War. It was situated in the Ageyn Foothills region of Talus. The base was comprised of a watch tower, an underground bunker, and a walled perimeter. In addition to the N.S.H. personnel stationed at the base, including soldiers, torture officers, the facility was also protected by B1-series battle droids and droidekas.

Following the Battle of Yavin, the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony allied itself with the Galactic Empire and became directly involved in the conflict against the Rebel Alliance and their allies, the Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization. In 1 ABY, N.S.H. forces closed down an A.C.L.O. clinic and took the Wookiee medical officer Syirlabradawk into custody. Furthermore, they seized a shipment of medical supplies intended for Rebel forces on Talus. Consequently, Alliance Captain Quellium and A.C.L.O. representative Trezya Nenei dispatched a spacer to infiltrate the N.S.H. base. This spacer launched an assault on the base, eliminating numerous N.S.H. enforcers. Subsequently, the spacer discovered several prisoners being held and tortured within holding cells located in the underground bunker, among whom was the Wookiee Syirlabradawk. The spacer also recovered the medical supply crates, which bore A.C.L.O. emblems that had been hastily covered with the N.S.H. logo.
The N.S.H. base was featured as a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its servers shut down on December 15, 2011. The N.S.H. base was implemented into the game as a component of the "Crisis of Allegiance" storyline, coinciding with the release of "Chapter 2: The Talus Incident," on August 1, 2006.
