The Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony, often shortened to N.S.H., functioned as a mercenary group. They were active on the planet of Talus during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

This mercenary unit, the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony, conducted its operations on Talus, a planet situated within the Corellian system. Their headquarters could be found nestled in the Ageyn Foothills. During the Galactic Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, the N.S.H. sided with the Galactic Empire, actively participating in battles against the Rebellion. In fact, the N.S.H. held viewpoints that closely mirrored those of the Empire. All mercenaries within the N.S.H. were male Humans. Additionally, they were known to employ torture techniques during their interrogation processes. Beyond their mercenary forces, the N.S.H. also deployed battle droids, including models such as B1-series battle droids and droideka.

Following the Battle of Yavin, Galiir Ac Yandar, who commanded the N.S.H., aimed to integrate his unit as a formal branch within the Imperial armed forces, rather than maintaining its independent status. In 1 ABY, Ac Yandar engaged in discussions with Imperial Colonel Braedic Ekirk in Dearic, with the goal of determining the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony's revised operational standing. Despite Ekirk's profound disdain for Galiir, he recognized the potential value of the N.S.H. as an asset to the Empire. However, these negotiations faced disruption when slicers belonging to the Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization, an anti-Imperial movement, disseminated information that nearly jeopardized Yandar's standing with the Empire. Consequently, Colonel Ekirk tasked a spacer, recommended by CorSec officer Dathnaeya Loessin, with raiding the A.C.L.O. office. Galiir Ac Yandar instructed the spacer to eliminate Leeta Poandeu, the slicer responsible for compromising his system, and then to establish contact with and provide assistance to Mark Hieks, a N.S.H. covert operative who had infiltrated the A.C.L.O. office. Ekirk also assigned the spacer the task of eliminating A.C.L.O. terrorists who were sabotaging Imperial shipments. Ultimately, the spacer successfully accomplished all of these objectives and received a reward for their assistance.
Concurrently, N.S.H. forces shut down an A.C.L.O. clinic and took the Wookiee medical officer Syirlabradawk into custody. They also seized a shipment of medical supplies that was intended for delivery to Rebel forces on Talus. In response, Alliance Captain Quellium and the A.C.L.O. representative Trezya Nenei dispatched a spacer to the N.S.H. base. This spacer launched an assault on the base, successfully recovering the medical shipment and rescuing the medical officer, while eliminating numerous N.S.H. enforcers in the process. The significant loss of N.S.H. mercenaries later enabled the A.C.L.O. to easily ambush an unit of N.S.H. enforcers and seize their shipment of Imperial medical computers.
The Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony made its debut in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011. The N.S.H. was introduced to the game as a component of the "Crisis of Allegiance" storyline, specifically with the release of "Chapter 2: The Talus Incident," on August 1, 2006.
