Dathnaeya Loessin was a female Human who served within the ranks of CorSec. She was stationed on Talus during the period of the Galactic Civil War.
Dathnaeya Loessin's affiliation was with the Corellian Security Force. Her initial training came from Agent Taarna, a respected CorSec member who became both a friend and a guiding figure for Loessin. As the Battle of Yavin approached, Dathnaeya Loessin was stationed in the Dearic Capitol, where she was recognized as one of CorSec's most promising up-and-coming officers.
As the Galactic Civil War intensified, pitting the Galactic Empire against the Alliance to Restore the Republic, especially after the Battle of Restuss, Dathnaeya Loessin felt compelled to take a more active role. However, she grappled with deciding which side to support. She confided in Agent Taarna, but he couldn't offer direct assistance without jeopardizing his position within CorSec. In 1 ABY, Taarna engaged a freelance spacer, someone he had previously worked with, to assist Dathnaeya. Concurrently, Loessin scheduled meetings with Captain Quellium and Colonel Ekirk, Rebel and Imperial officers respectively, both based in Dearic. Loessin then charged the spacer with working alongside both officers to evaluate which faction represented the most just and equitable cause in the ongoing conflict.
The Rebel Captain Quellium requested the spacer's assistance in operations alongside Trezya Nenei against the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony, a group of mercenaries who were linked to the Empire. Conversely, the Imperial Colonel Ekirk tasked the spacer with working for Galiir Ac Yandar against the Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization, a medical supply organization that was allied with the Alliance. Subsequently, the spacer compiled a comprehensive report for Dathnaeya Loessin, which helped her in determining which faction she would join in the Galactic Civil War.
Dathnaeya Loessin made an appearance as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. This occurred before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Dathnaeya Loessin was incorporated into the game as part of the "Crisis of Allegiance" story arc, specifically with the release of "Chapter 2: The Talus Incident," which went live on August 1, 2006.
