A nest ship represented a major capital ship type constructed by the Killik Colony amidst the Dark Nest Crisis. These vessels were designed to transport their nests away from the Utegetu Nebula.
These ships, each resembling a massive egg, measured roughly eight thousand meters in length, making them significantly larger than the majority of vessels within the Galactic Alliance's fleet. Their outer surfaces incorporated blocks of spitcrete, functioning as rudimentary heat dissipation systems.
Nest ships carried illicit turbolasers along with proton torpedo delivery systems as offensive weaponry.
A total of fifteen of these ships were produced, and their initial deployment involved engaging the Alliance's established blockade at the Murgo Choke.
Alongside a multitude of dartships, the Killiks successfully navigated multiple nest ships through the blockade. They even seized control of the Victory-class Star Destroyer Admiral Ackbar, the flagship commanded by Nek Bwua'tu. This action, coupled with the successful escape of several of these vessels, marked the commencement of the Swarm War.
Later, four of these ships participated in the Battle of Tenupe.
