The Netalych system, a star system found in the Inner Rim, was characterized by its age and frigidity. A dozen desolate planets circled a strangely verdant star within this system. The planet Netalych, the system's seventh, was home to DN-949A. This location had previously functioned as the Empire's third-tier fueling station and chemical refinement center for the Croynar sector. Devoid of substantial strategic or cultural significance, the settlement housed approximately 500 organic inhabitants alongside 1600 droids possessing at least fifth-degree intelligence. In pursuit of the Surgeon, Yrica Quell and a strike force comprised of members from the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing journeyed to the system, ultimately landing on DN-949A. Shortly thereafter, they were pursued by Chass na Chadic and Kairos.
