Patrol ship

As an illustration, observe the Republic Stealth ship, a type of patrol vessel.

A patrol ship, which can also be called a patrol boat or patrol craft, functioned as a warship whose primary function was area patrol. The Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft, the experimental Galactic Republic IPV-2C Stealth Corvette, and the Auzituck anti-slaver gunship all fell into this category. A class of patrol ship was utilized by the Chiss Ascendancy. Zyzek System Defense made use of patrol ships, too. The Lioaoin Regime employed a patrol craft. Lioaoin freighters, Lioaoin corsairs, space stations, and several patrol ships belonging to their military were positioned above the Lioaoin heartworld. Certain patrol boats used by the Vak Combine were also used as starfighters.
