Nozho

Nozho existed as a city-state located on Bith, the native planet of the Bith species, who are sentient. Approximately three centuries prior to the Galactic Civil War, Nozho engaged in a civil war against the city-state called Weogar. The war concluded rapidly when each side deployed mutagenic, chemical, and biological armaments against the other. These weapons devastated the Bith ecosystem and resulted in the deaths of most of the planet's inhabitants. As a result, the planet was placed under quarantine, and Bith society experienced a significant transformation.

Behind the scenes

The canon of Star Wars first referenced Nozho in Fully Operational, a 2018 sourcebook for roleplaying created by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying system. The city's initial appearance was within the Star Wars Legends timeline, specifically within the 1989 roleplaying supplement Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, authored by Troy Denning for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
