Nuro pirates
The Nuro pirates constituted a band of pirates who operated during the Clone Wars era, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Similar to numerous other pirate factions, the capture of the Nuro pirates was not deemed a priority by Count Dooku, the Separatist Head of State. Consequently, Dooku negotiated agreements with the pirates, urging them to disrupt Republic supply routes throughout the time of the war.
