Nym was a pirate of the Feeorin male species, and he was the chief of the Lok Revenants pirate group. Nym and his pirate group were active in the Corellian Run's Rimward region and the Llanic Spice Run hyperspace routes during the waning time of the Galactic Republic. Although the group frequently attacked Trade Federation ships, they also preyed on other criminals like enslavers and spicers. On occasion, Nym and the Lok Revenants would assist Jedi Master Adi Gallia.
The Star Wars canon first mentioned Nym within Collapse of the Republic, which is a 2019 addition to the Star Wars Roleplaying game line by Fantasy Flight Games. The character Nym originally appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Star Wars: Starfighter, a flight simulator game that was both created and distributed by LucasArts in 2001.
