Onod I

Onod, also referred to as Onod I, existed as a planet within both the Mid Rim Territories and the Western Reaches. It was the first orbital body in its respective star system, found at coordinates K-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid. A hyperspace route provided a link to both Kriselist and the world of Tiferep Major.

The Onodone forger Gwellis Bagnoro, born circa 17 BBY, hailed from Onod I, their homeworld. Eloc Throno, a historian, later included Onod I on a galactic map within his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu. By the time when the First Order occupied Batuu in 34 ABY, Hondo Ohnaka, a pirate, had acquired a stolen identity profile for Bagnoro that referenced this planet.

Behind the scenes

The planet Onod I initially appeared in the Star Wars: Datapad application, which was released in conjunction with the opening of the themed area Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios during 2019. The shorter name for the planet was presented in the 2020 book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu by Cole Horton.
