Ossiathora system
The Ossiathora system, a star system, existed within the Galactic Republic's controlled space during the period known as the High Republic Era. Back in 228 BBY, a strike within the Ossiathora system caused a disruption to the creation of a specific grain. This grain was critical for the manufacture of an alcohol used to clean engines that frequently became lodged within the Pyrlix Miasma of the Tyus sector. Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh of the Republic was informed of these events, briefly pondering the wide-ranging consequences. The reports she received contained possible solutions to the crisis, but her focus shifted to another matter before she could delve deeper.
Behind the scenes
Within current Star Wars canon, the Ossiathora system is referenced inside the 2024 novel called Temptation of the Force. This novel was written by Tessa Gratton and released as a component of the Star Wars: The High Republic endeavor's Phase III. Conversely, in the Star Wars Legends timeline, the Ossiathora system made its initial appearance within the 2009 reference volume, The Essential Atlas, penned by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.
