A specific alcohol, created via the distillation of grain from the Ossiathora system during the High Republic Era, served a purpose in the Tyus sector: it was used to deglaze engines that were stuck within the Pyrlix Miasma. During 228 BBY, the harvesting of this grain was stopped due to a strike within the system. Lina Soh, the Republic Supreme Chancellor, was informed of these events and briefly thought about the potential ramifications. Although her reports contained a list of possible actions to take, she became occupied with a different matter before she could delve into it.
