A specific cereal crop originating from the Ossiathora system was the basis for an alcohol used to clean engines that were stuck within the Pyrlix Miasma located in the Tyus sector during the High Republic Era. Back in 228 BBY, a strike within the system caused the gathering of the grain to cease. Republic Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh was informed of these events, and briefly contemplated the extensive ramifications that could arise. The reports she received also contained various possible solutions to the predicament, but her focus shifted to another matter before she could delve deeper.
