Overseer was a role found within both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Empire's military. During the Clone Wars, Poggle the Lesser, who held the title of Archduke, functioned as the overseer for the Geonosis primary droid foundry, in conjunction with an ST-series super tactical droid. Following several decades, Aggadeen, an Imperial officer, held the overseer position at Weapons Factory Alpha located on Cymoon 1 not long after the Battle of Yavin.
