Gunboat

A gunboat represented a particular class of starship that the Galactic Empire employed. Among the gunboat classifications were the assault gunboat and the escort gunboat. A number of gunboats were part of an Imperial battle group situated within the Ilum system.

Within the Unknown Regions, various political entities incorporated gunboats into their respective fleets. The Lioaoin Regime made use of a specific gunboat design, while the Nikardun Destiny possessed the Nighthunter gunboat. The Watith species operated a remotely controlled type of gunboat.
